THE BUSINESS RESET

Pause. Review. Reset. Move Forward.

Running a small business can mean spending so much time working in the business that there is very little opportunity to step back and work out what really needs your attention

THE BUSINESS RESET

The Business Reset gives you 90 minutes to pause, look at what is working, identify what is creating the greatest pressure and leave with one practical action you can take over the next 30 days.

Wednesday 4 November 2026

12 noon | Cafe VinCino, Noosa Marina, Tewantin

90-minute interactive workshop
Small group | Practical | Local

$30 per person
Subsidised from the full $45 cost by Your New Leaf Foundation.

This Workshop Is Different

Many business workshops start with a set agenda and tell you what you should be doing.

We are starting by listening to local businesses.

The Business Reset is designed to help you:

  • step back from the day-to-day;
  • identify what is really creating pressure;
  • focus on one priority rather than adding more to your list;
  • develop one practical 30-day action;
  • tell us what support would genuinely help you next; and
  • help shape future New Leaf workshops.

We are not here to tell local businesses what they need.

We are here to listen, help identify what matters most, and build practical support around it.

Who Is It For?

This workshop is for small and micro-business owners who may be:

  • juggling too many priorities;
  • stretched for time or capacity;
  • unsure where to focus next;
  • concerned about cash flow or profitability;
  • struggling with marketing or visibility;
  • finding too much depends on them personally;
  • putting off decisions because everything feels urgent.

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what the problem is.

Part of the workshop is helping you work that out.

What Will We Explore?

The workshop looks at four common business pressure points:

Money
Pricing, cash flow, costs, profitability and knowing the numbers.

Visibility
Customers, referrals, marketing, messaging and staying visible.

Capacity
Time, workload, systems, staffing, owner energy and how much depends on you.

Decision-Making
Priorities, direction, uncertainty, delayed decisions and too many competing ideas.

What Will You Leave With?

You will leave with:

  • a clearer view of what is working;
  • greater clarity about what is creating pressure;
  • one business priority to focus on;
  • a simple Stop / Strengthen / Start decision;
  • your own 30-Day Business Reset Plan;
  • one action you can take within seven days;
  • an opportunity to help shape the workshops that follow.

Help Shape What Comes Next

This is not intended to be a one-off workshop. The Business Reset is the starting point for a local business workshop series. Participants will help identify what support would be most useful next.

Potential themes include:

  • Resilient Business
  • Foundations
  • Sustainable Capacity
  • Customer Connection & Visibility
  • Leading a Small Team
  • Values-Based Growth
